time private tour to hike the picturesque Mount
Pinatubo and swim in the Crater Lake at the top. Depart from Metro Manila at dawn and drive two and a half hours north in a luxury minibus, here you will board a old 4x4 Filipino Jeep and enjoy a thrilling drive across Crow Valley, a moon-like terrain, with vast ash fields and rocky rivers. On the way will stop at an Aeta Village and enjoy interacting with one of the oldest indigenous tribes in the Philippines. You will hike up towards the summit passing through sandy cliffs and up a mountain path. The views of the crater lake are breathtaking and worth every minute of the long trek. Take in the incredible surroundings and enjoy a swim in the lake before returning to Pinatubo Spa Town. n combination with your trek to Mount Pinatubo or as an alternative you can bathe in the naturally heated Pinatubo hot springs. The Pinatubo Hot Springs package includes a Thai/shiatsu massage. At Mount Pinatubo Spa you will enjoy a shower and a Filipino / Korean buffet lunch before travelling back to Manila. You have the option of visiting the Capas National Shrine where you can experience the horrors faced by the U.S. and Filipino POW soldiers who were interned under the Japanese for much of WW2 at Camp O'Donnell |
Enjoy the opportunity to hike Taal Volcano - the smallest

Enjoy a private pick up from your house or hotel in Metro Manila at 7.00 am before driving two hours south in a luxury minibus to Tagaytay. You can stop along the the way for a coffee at Starbucks before reaching the lookout point at Tagaytay Ridge with its spectacular views of Taal Lake. From the ridge we will ascend to the shores of the lake stopping along the way to take pictures and enjoy the view. At the lake you will board a Filipino made motorised outrigger and enjoy a 30 minute boat ride across the lake to the small island of Talisay. Your local guide will lead the trek up towards the summit along black sandy paths with incredible views of the surrounding lake and mountains . The views of the crater lake are breathtaking and worth every minute of the hike. Take in the incredible surroundings before returning to shore and catching the boat back for a picnic lunch under swaying palm trees on the water edge. On your return to Tagaytay, you will enjoy your delicious packed picnic lunch in a traditional Cabana over looking the calm waters of Taal lake. We encourage our guests to enjoy some of the water sports available at the Taal Yacht Club (at an additional cost). After a relaxing picnic lunch we will make our way back to Manila - if you would like to stop along the route to look at local handicrafts or to buy fruit or flowers, your driver will be happy to wait. |
