The people of Palawan are melting pot of 87 different cultural groups and races people consisting mainly of Austronesian origin,
with a mix of Chinese and Spanish. Its culture bears a strong influence from Borneo, China and the Middle East.
Calauit Island on the north-western coast of Palawan is a 3700 hectare game preserve and wildlife sanctuary featuring African wildlife
donated by the Kenyan Government to Ferdinand Marcos former dictator of the Philippines. Sea turtles, sea cows and a variety of marine life
nestle on Calauit Islands shores.

Flights
There are daily return flights from Palawan to the
