Boracay Island is located at the northern tip of Panay Island in the Visayan region of the Philippines. The small palm studded island is home to the legendary White Beach which is based on its western shoreline. White Beach is regularly hailed as the most beautiful beach in the world, its long white powdery beach; azure water and sun-drenched weather attract tourists from around the world.

Days can be spent simply lazing on the beach while evenings are for indulging in the wide array of delicious food, tropical cocktails and party lifestyle.

For the more adventurous tourist there are a host of activities to keep you fully occupied. On the eastern side of the island is Bulabog Beach, a kiteboarding and windsurfing haven that draws enthusiasts from all over the world, especially during the peak season from November to March.

How to Get There

There are daily flights between Manila and Caticlan or Kalibo. From the Kalibo Airport, air-conditioned vans and buses are available for hire to take you to the Caticlan Jetty, where boats are stationed to take you to the island. The bus trip takes around 90 minutes, and the boat ride, 20 minutes.
